Clutch install ?

how long does it typically take to install a stock clutch?

In the garage on jack stands it can take 8-10 hours. A lift nearly cuts it in half for myself. I'm sure some of the guys on here have it down quicker.

Not on the Evo...I'm basing it off what shops give as an estimate for doing the Evo clutch. If he's asking about people doing it themselves, then I don't know. I used to do my DSM trannies beginning-to-end in about 2 hours with a buddy, but I never did it all by myself.

I was just curious, It looks like a lot of work on Evos.

When my time comes, I will have to decide, pay someone or go for it.

I think it would take me 10 to 12 hours if I did it myself.

extrememotorsport said they would charge 7hrs for clutch install. thats probably where ill go for mine when the time comes.
