hey guys, i go on this site every day but i just recently became a member. i have an 03 BBY. anyway, i noticed that the hood vent (underneath the black mesh) is almost totally silver metal now, it seems that the paint on it has been worn away. has anyone else noticed this? I also have the white spots on the spoiler

Mine is turning silver. After a while i forgot what color it was supposed to be, i thought the black was dirt. I just removed the black paint i think it looks much better in silver.

 

Same thing with mine, it turned totally sliver (or bare metal). I think it's from going throuh car washed and the soap just sits on top of it then gets burned off, and by doing that alot of times the paint starts getting burned off too. So my solution is I just took it off for now, it's looks pretty cool with just the mesh. But when winter comes i'm going to paint the metal part black again and put it on.
