Smile Evo in da House!

Hi All:

I've been lurking on this board for a bit now but just wanted to post the Evo is here! Roseville Mitsu called me today that their first one just rolled in on the truck. I will try to go by on Monday after work and take a pic.

The fun begins.

If that one's yours then you better tell them not to drive the car. There should not be more than 10 miles on the odometer.

I do not believe that Dr. Evo actually has a downpayment on that EVO at Roseville Mitsu. You may remember that I called that very same dealership about 2 months ago and was told they would be putting about a 10k markup on it. Their "Internet Specialist" saleman even posted on this board after I told him about us. He started a HUGE thread about how a HUGE Markup was somehow the proper way to do business.

If Dr. Evo goes there to see it on Monday, I bet he reports back that the car is marked up to about 38K.

Roseville Mitzu is on our "S.H.I.T. List" of dealers.

Hailz! Again...

If the weather is clear tomorrow (Sunday), I will drive over to Roseville and take a peek and a Pic or two. From Reno, its less than 2 hours to get there.

I will call the dealership first, and confirm that it is available to be seen, and ask about it's price.

Well, i recieved a call on saturday from John Miller at Roseville Mitsubishi that the car was there (Red/Sunroof/Big wing).

I was thinking about driving out there from the bay area to take a look at it. But i started prodding him for the info on how much they would be marking the Evo up for. He replied, "Oh, about fifteen". I replied, "fifteen hundred? hmmmmm". He replied, "No, fifteen thousand dollars".

Well, that was the end of the conversation for me...........

Haha that sucks.. so what did the salesman say.. when questioned.. did he just say ya. we lied so you would come in here.. or did he have reason to say that he had a red evo there and than not really have it.

Hailz!

I have no idea WHAT DEALERSHIP "Score" went to, but I just got back from Roseville Mitsu... and I sat in the Red EVO with Sunroof and Large Spoiler. It is a Beautiful car! However, it was locked in a back room with bad liting and they did not even have the car's battery connected yet, so we could not start it up or see the lit instrument panel. It does feel as solid as a rock tho... and I was impressed. Then I looked at the sticker and saw the MSRP of $30,800.00 including the 595.00 destination charge.

Then, way below that was the "Dealer-Markup" of $14,995.00 !!!

That brought the price up to $45,795.00

I then spoke with John Miller the "Internet Specialist" and he told me the mark up was the "agreed upon markup of the Northern California Mitsu Dealers." He did say.. that sooner or later the price should come down.

Oh Really??

PS... He said I and my wife were the First Customers to see the car. When I post the pic as proof.. I want my "viewing" to be "datestamped" by you guys.
