Exhaust Flange Rubbing On Drive Shaft!!!

http://www.jeffjeske.com/rubbing.jpg

Anyone else notice the rear flange on their exhaust rubbing on the driveshaft?

It appears that the stock hangers allow for enough play that the flange bumps the drive shaft every now and then.

Anyone have a fix for this?

^ I have that same exhaust and mine was touching the driveshaft, my problem was that my mid-pipe wasn't pushed onto the downpipe all the way and my mid-pipe came off the DP on an angle and was directed at the driveshaft, simple fix.

Um...there are scrape marks.....

For me its the rear hangers allow too much movement. Everything else is nice and tight. Keep in mind I noticed this while installing SMART. I never heard it hit or anything so I imagine it was during very aggressive driving.

The testpipe is reversable with no change to the direction of the flange. There is only one way for the mid pipe to go or the rear O2 wont fit. I may just add some tension with wire but I wanted to see what others have done. I'm sure I am not the only one....others may not even know its happening.
