i have helix and i had no problems with it. Only "tight" area is right by the stock battery but every pipe lined up great for me.

Everything fit just fine for me. Stock battery is tight, but works.

i think the turbo outlet area was a poor design, and they use a straight coupler, and it just wasnt top notch. To beat it all, my turbo outlet pipe that comes with the kit had a pin hole leak in the welds and i couldnt boost anything over 17psi. I had to take it and get it rewelded....not only that, but they use a brass fitting for the nipple on that pipe....would have been better had they not just used a brass screw fitting, because then that leaked around the threads...not even teflon tape would seal it.

the only problem I had was my fat hands couldn't get the bolt back on the turbo outlet but that was all my fault. I struggled with that bolt for over an hr, my buddy stopped by and put it in right away. that and I sweat my a$$ off in the 100+ Texas heat on install. the rest of the install was a piece of cake. the battery was tight but i just put in the pipe side of the battery and dropped the other side in.
no problems as far as performance and spools alot quicker. worth the money i think, a looks decent too.

93civej1 - I'm very sorry to hear the problems you have had with your Helix kit. That sort of problem is highly unusual. We've sold hundreds of these kits, and the majority of the customers are very happy with the kit. In the future, you can let us know, we'll get Helix to send you a replacement unit asap. That being said, I believe the majority of the kits out there as well as the stock pipes use a straight section on the turbo outlet. In fact it isn't much different from stock at that piece - just a bit larger and longer. I'm very sorry about all the problems though, if you want to send it back you still can, I'll get you a new piece from Helix asap.

Thanks,

Gary
