For those like me that don't really need to have 400awhp all of the time, has anyone considered this set up? In theory wouldn't it make the addition of nitrous safer?

Or are you better off running a wet kit and being done with it?

I wouldn't probably run anything like this on my car personally, and I thought I read that Al Freeman is running both, but I'm wondering what the effects would be with a non-race built car.

 

I'm in the process of planning this out now.

Dynoflash mail in flash for all mods on pump gas
ecu+ for fine tuning different maps, one for on alky and one for on alky and NO2
alky injected into the intake tract before the throttle body
NX dry kit sprayed into the intake tract where the alky goes

I'm running 117 in the 1/4 now, I'm wondering what the nitrous will add? Maybe 5-6mph.

I don't know if the stock internals can take it. I'm at 360whp/355wtq without NO2.

I will be running 120+mph with stock intercooler, turbo, and internals

 

Sounds interesting. Nothing i'd risk doing, but cool non the less.

 

This is a similar setup that I plan on running. The bolts ons + alky for daily driving, but for track days meth + nitrous. All controlled via UTEC.

 

Nitrous, so tempting but I prob wouldn't do it.
