Help me!! (fuel pump)

Ok....I tried installing a walbro pump last night and it didn't work. My car would crank and crank but it wouldn't start. So I decided to jus put the stock one back in. Same exact thing is happening. All the lines are how they should be and I'm 99% sure I put the pump in right. I even checked sum fuses too. But no dice... WTF is wrong with my car??

Probably the black rubber boot on the output of the pump is misaligned or the rubber lower insulator is not pushing up on the pump hard enough.

Also check that the pins are pushed into the internal harness all the way... I had my Evo quit on me mid corner. Flat bedded it back to the garage to find that one of the pins in the 4" harness from filter to fuel pump was not pushed all the way into the connector. I pushed it in until it clicked and all was good.

^ +1 to both. 9 times out of 10, people just don't have a solid connection.

If the above does not work take the fuel pump and stick in about a gallon of gas and hot wire to see if it is the fuel pump or not. Once you have done this check the GROUND and the Fuel Pump Relay.

It looks like the pump is working tho. I disconnected the supply line and hit the key and fuel squirted out. But when I disconnected the return line there was no suction or fuel coming out. I checked all fuses and everything looks good. I think I've taken this thing out and put it back in about 7 times now.
