speaker connectors...

I'm at a loss. I searched around and cannot find a harness for the speakers on this car! Metra seemingly has none, no shops have any, what did you guys use?

I am trying to avoid having to splice wires... thanks!

well what i did was...i cut out the brackett that the original speaker is connected to all the way to just a flat piece of plastic..then i bolted the speaker str8 to the flat new modified bracket and then placed it so..filled the air gaps with non hardeing molding clay and presto instant bracket..make sure you have a good dremel with a cutting and sanding bit. took me about 20 an hour for both to get them perfect.

I bought alpine sps-170a speakers so I hope I don't have to deal with all this nonsense... we shall see! I don't have a dremel (yet).

RyongCE, thanks for the tip!

see the thing is mitsu made the speaker size i think 6.75 to make things hard for us lol...but there is always a way around. if you cant do the plastic bracket..you can always fabricate and adaptor with some MDF wood. so many ideas..just depends on how much work you want to do. lol..and if you want to replace those tweets..be prepared for some MASSIVE fabrication lol..i had to do some macgyver Sh*t to get it to work. but after all said and done im a happy camper.

Keeping the stock tweets for that reason (and I'm cheap).

These alpines have an adapter so I'm not too worried about fitment.

twinevo, do you happen to know the metra part #?
