Insurance? I need some help

I at the moment have one Land Rover Dyscovery, I gona trade in my land rover to a Evo 8 but I dont know How much insurance can pay a Evo 8, the sales man tell me that Evo 8 can pay between 150$ to 250$, that it to much because I have no record and I have 6 year with my Driver licence, with my land rover I pay 90$, somebody here can tell my how much pay a Evo8 brand new, maybe not the exactly amount.

You didn't state your age so it's a just a guess at this point but I would doubt that the Evo will cost more than your Land Rover, if it does it shouldn't be that much more anyway. Of course, as usual, I could be and probably am wrong.

PS-Kind of curious, how is it that you are driving an Evo 9? Why would you want an Evo 8 then?

First off...why would you listen to what a sales persone tell you about your insurance?

Second...why would you ask anyone here about insurance? Everyone is different due to their age, location, history, etc ..etc..

Lastly.. call your insurance agent to get a real quote. Should always call the agent
before purchasing any car to insure you could afford the change in your policy.

Just my .02

Spoons right....

Insurance rates are based on so many different things, your best bet is to find a good agent to get you a quote!

Call your insurance agent and ask for a quote on the Evo. If you have a current policy already, tell him you are thinking of buying a new car, and want to know what the insurance rates will be. He/she will ask you a whole bunch of questions, and then give you a number.

Insurance will be MUCH higher on an Evo than a Discovery. One of the primary rating factors for automobiles is the speed they are capable of. As we all know, nothing much rivals an Evo. Your risk exposure in a vehicle that is capable of hitting 100 mph without even flinching is much higher than a giant SUV.

the insurance on an new evo will be a whole lot more than a Disco, but like everyone else said dont listen to a salesmen, call you agent and find out for real.

Well if it makes you feel any better...... I am looking to pay about $500 a month on insurance on an EVO VIII.

And to make matters worse... that is with NO accoident, NO tickets, as well as having a multi car, multi line discount, w/ the renters policy discount, w/ a discount for a denensive driving class.... LOL.

All becuase I am a male under the age of 24. Oh well... those are the breaks... and im sure since I am going to be buying the IX I will pay a little more....
