Is the 03 Evo the worst year of the car?
Eh, I own an '03 that is mildly modded and has (so far) given me no problems. I recently took a long hard look at getting an '05 with the 0% financing available but just couldn't justify it. Sure, I'd like to have the ACD and LSD, but I also want HIDs and I don't want leather. Those last two options are not possible and the price difference didn't justify the first two. I don't think it's fair to say the '03s are "the worst" but I understand what you're saying. Feature-wise they don't have some of the goodies available on the '05s, but they cost less too. I think it's a wash.

Love my 03 15,000 not a single problem, except that clear coat chip on the wing. got a steal of a deal. now all modded up. the 05 looks nice some extra features but not trading just yet. maybe the EVO X will look better.

so ..yes,it does the trick for me however like some people says before the 03 is a heck of a car.

Hardly the same price-- I paid 28,500 brand new in June 2003 for a Apex Silver Evo with only 7 miles-- moonroof and spoiler included. Even financed it at just 3.5% for 5 years.
