I've seen that site before for work related stuff. Very nice. The piece I'm looking for comes from autometer and has the twist in housing attached already. It's just a straight plug and play affair. Thanks.

plus autometer is awesome in customer service. an oil pressue gauge went bad. sent it back to them WITHOUT an invoice, and they sent me a brand new one with a sender.
I had the ultra-lites before in my galant vr4. i had all of them (EGT, oil, boost), but stupid me, i sold them

the thing is with the ultra-lite, the back face is white. the cluster is black/grey

any other suggestions?

My ultra- lites have an aluminum face.
Autometer pn: 4377 boost gauge

It has peak recall and a boost warning light. They also match my Blaupunkt head unit pretty well.

The upper levels of Autometer gauges are just as accurate as Defi or any other automotive gauge. I know because I have checked them against a Druck calibrator along with VDO (which do suck in my opinion), Stack, Stewart Warner, and yes Defi. They all read pretty accurately.

What an ignorant post.

i just gave my 2 cents thats all. i've experienced w/ autometer and i wasnt very happy with them. thats why i say go with defi or HKS. they are very accurate gauges compared to autometer. so dont say my post is ignorant... coz it isnt.

I had my sister order me an Autometer boost gauge (30-0-20) today (I'm broke so i kinda begged). Should be coming in later this week, just in time when i get my car back from the stealership.

Edit: Like others mentioned before, just change the light bulb condom and it should work.

You gave your $.02 on a topic that has no relevance to the thread or the question asked. The guy asked what line of a specific brand of gauge would look good not, what do you guys think of Autometer. To just slam a company by saying they suck and not give any reason is ignorant. I'm not trying to argue with you. It's just posts like that turn every thread into an arguement over something stupid.

I think the basic Autometer Z series boost guage is an excellent edition. Pure black with white letters and with the red bulb condom matches the interior lights nicely.

I have a straight boost guage mounted on the steering colum with works pretty well. But I should have chose the one with the vacuum option.

anyone have pics of the Cobalt, Cobalt 2, Sport-Comp 2, and Carbon Fiber gauges with red condom or red LED in them?

I didnt want to make another thread for this since it would be under the same thread topic, but if i dont see any replies, then maybe ill make a new thread

Thanks in advance!

I vote phantom II. Love the black on white during the day, and love the inverse at nite. The red led pointer looks nice too.

Here are a couple of my Ultra lites with red LED's. It's a fairly crappy picture of them lit up. They look much better in real life when lit.
