I've been in the market for a new turbo now for a few months and i can't seem to make up my mind.

I have an 03' evo with the 9.8 hotside so i was thinking.... save some money and do a 10.5

Then i thought, spend a bit more and get titanium internals with the TME.

Now im thinking, wait for the 20G to get some results and consider that.


This is my daily driver and i only see pump 91oct here in Cali.
Boost is always a mild 20-21psi

Any suggestions?

 

Id go with a tme for a daily driver, with a even bigger turbo you need other things to compliment it, then you spend more money and lose drivability.

 

Well given the gas you get and not knowing your current mods I would think alcohol inection would get you about the same gains as say a TME. Plus, if you have alky, then the move to something like the 20G will be more worth it.

I have pretty much all the bolt on mods....
cams, intake, tbe, fp, mbc

Only problem with alky is that i don't like the fact that i have to keep filling up the tank and checking it to make sure its working properly.

 

Can someone please explain to me what Alky injection is? Just spraying alcohol onto your intercooler?

Im leaning towards the TME or WR since the 20G is not a turbo for road racing.
I really want to get out more and do more road racing.

Can anyone confirm........
TME can run efficient on stock injectors?
WR need larger injetors?

This is being tuned by a flash.
