Thank god this dip**** didn't kill anyone, its bad enough that he hurt an innocent passenger. I would sue his *** off, he'd be lucky to afford an 84 Chevette after I was through with him/his family.

High rates come from high loss records on the particular car.
My Porsche Boxster S was cheap to insure -- why? Low claims record for that car. In other words, not a lot of Porsche owners are out there wrecking their cars.
My 2004 Z06 Vette is only $560 a year for me to insure -- my 2005 EVO is $845 a year to insure. Why? I'm driving a "punk car" with a high loss record as my daily driver. 'nuff said.

His parents are complete retards. I cannot believe they bought him another car after he wrecked his first one, not only another car but the SAME TPYE OF CAR. Honestly they had this coming. I hope he gets better and no dobt if he does he will learn an amazing life-changing lesson. Best of luck~

Come on guys, have some sympathy. I know its irresponsible and all that, but c'mon, he's a 17 yr old KID. You guys remember when you were 17? Could anyone tell you anything that you didn't know already? This guy was just being a Kid. This is what Kids do.
Now, his parents on the other hand.....they should be caned. Not only for buying their 17 year old an evo, but for buying him a SECOND evo after the first one was wrecked.
