I just got my car tuned, and we noticed when we got it out on the road, there was this crazy boost leak. It would hit 1.5 bar, then drop down to .5 or so immediately. You could hear the hiss as the boost went out. So everyone was thinking it's the BOV.

But here's my point of confusion. On the way home, on the highway, I got the car into higher gears. In third and fourth, the boost creeps up to like 1.7 and stays there. I get a nasty backfire, too. So I'm thinking maybe something else is wrong. Anyone seen anything like this happen?
