tailight not working

My right tailight does not work when you turn the lights on. Only the left one comes on. Only the red part does not come on(signal and reverse ok). They do come on when I brake though. I've checked all fuses and replaced the bulbs. What else could be wrong?

dont' waste your time playing with the electrical system, take it to the dealer, i'm assuming u still have the warranty? when stupid lil things like that dont' work, don't make it your headache, let the mitsu service take care of it. good luck

same thing happened to me when i put in my boost controller (also the keyless entry was not working on the rear right door)... check the plugs under the steering wheel to the left, if you were messing with the plastic part alot under the car then you might have yanked a plug loose

good luck
