What do you guys think??? Can i do it?????
I only ran a 13.2 and I have 300whp. I dedicate that to my first time at the track with limited experience launching. I have a 1.9 60', which isn't the best. It was also very hot and humid which didn't seem to help things.
So unless you have been there and done that, I would be careful what you bet. It's not always as easy as it seems, as I found out.....
I know I can do better, and should break 13's next time...just going to take some practice.

Cabo
run the highest unleaded octane you can get, turn up the boost to 30psi. JUST KIDDING. Turn to about 23-24 psi, launch at about 6000rpm, bring out the clutch, to the point right before engagement and lauch when it turns green, or i always leave on the third yellow. With that high of an rpm, you should't bog down, if you do try take in it a little higher, but be ready to shift.... Also practice afew times...
The car has the potential to hit 12s. If you do not accomplish 12s the only person to blame will be yourself (unless you have a boost leak or slipping clutch). Still even if you do not succeed keep at it, and you will hit 12s eventually. 300AWHP is more than enough to hit 12s with a good driver.
Yeah run race gas just to make sure, still even with pump gas you should be able to accomplish 12s, but your gonna have to be a good driver or you'll see low 13s all day. Do not baby the car, if you know how to launch correctly, the clutch will hold, just don't abuse it everyday. One of the EVO owners in my neighboorhood just lost his clutch, well what do you expect when you pretty much launch your car at every street light.
