Street racing is against the law, but modding your car isn't necessarily.

Cops need to crack down on the racers, sure. But just cause my car may look fast, that's a BS reason to hassle me.

$5 million that could have gone to something useful, wasted. Why do cops need a special grant to ummm... do their jobs?

makes me not want to get the evo 9, but instead get the CTS-V, at least they will think its a businessman's car, and not a street racer's car.

The real question is, who are the donkeys we keep sending to Washington? That money came from all 50 states (federal grant).

On behalf of the other 49 states, give us our money back and let California **** their own money away on this crap.

Not ranting at you, Speete.

I think cracking down on street racing is fine. I don't think cracking down on hobbyst doing mods is fine. And CARB, that's F**CKINg BULLS**T. Anyways, I don't promote street racing of any kind and I believe that CARB should be better and more improved. If it's going to exist, at least make it easier and more fair.

Peace.

street racing is for morons, especially in Saco where you have so many legal racing venues to participate in.
