Sacramento crackdown has started... video
now now...dont jump to conclucions about every evo being watched in sactown because of this stupid racer that got caught. The cops cant tell a difference between a oz rally eddition and a rs. They looks for big shinny objects/stickers/and yes sad but true big giant wings(
) the evo community should not be stereotyped for someone elses mistake...just becasue he/she happened to be driving an evo(i must admit looked quite sexy in the vid though) i do say keep it on the track though. they crackin down!~

I want to know why they have about 8 cars on that video racing and only 2 street racing arrests, but they "ticketed" 126 people for watching and 25 people for illegal modification, ticketed meanin just fines, meaning revinue generation. It is like I said in the other thread this program is less about curbing street racing and more about revinue generation. The people in charge, if they really wanted to make a difference, would use that 5 mil to either fund an undercover program that targets only the racers or to start a program like the ones in LA that set up a legal racing spot in the LA coliseum parking lot.

I would tell the police that they are not allowed to search my car without a warrant and then fight my subsequent incarceration all the way to the Supreme Court.

And here's a mirror to the link to the video above.. Sackett might wanna put this up there in the first post or exchange it completely.

It's very simple, really ... you pay to play ... if you don't want to risk a big fine ticket, then keep your mods legal.
- Don't want to run a cat? ... spin the wheel ...
- Want to run a louda$$ exhaust? ... roll the dice ...
- Want that big turbo with the tubular headers? ... step right up ...
Every state has laws that are simple enough to research and follow.
If I was in Cali, I'd probably disable the hood release, and be like "well, sir ossifer, my hood release broke last week, blah blah... got an appointment scheduled at the dealership , and ... ummm ... my car's really been running like crap (as 280 cams chug along in the background and then stalls with the AC blasting) ... and ... aahh ... I think it really needs a tuneup or sumthin' ... just listen to it, I couldn't race this thing if I wanted to..."

$5 million to crack down on street racing is obviously money well spent. now there will be a huge reduction of child molesters raping little children. the sacramento city council are the true heroes.
it sucks...seems like in cali is where the best car scene is yet its really strict there...here in illinois you can do anything you want and run catless cars all day long and be ok yet the car scene isnt huge here

I also saw a couple stangs in that video as well...
oh its discrimination because people are forced to buy imports... right?
