JDM TAKATA airbags

I'm not sure if anybody has noticed, but if i'm not mistaken we have takata airbags! that was sort of a surprise to me...

TAKATA makes oem safety equipment for cars. Seat belts, air bags etc...

i was just surprised that mitsu put in takata airbags... nothing more nothing less.... damn you guys... end of story... oh and now all you car show freaks can add takata airbags to your list...

Do you guys take out your airbags for autoXing... I thought I read a rule about that in the SCCA manual. Was wondering if everyone does that and if it's hard to take out.

It's not a rule, it was an bad report about closed face helmets and airbags.

so all that crap about having to remove the passenger seat and having racing seatbelts and having to remove the airbag are just guidlines for SCCA?

Which reminds me, where do ya'll autoX? Through SCCA?
