Some help plz

Just clicked 2200 miles on here. today while driving at a stop light the car acts like it wants to die out. Keep in mind it over a hundred deg today in AZ and it makes this fluxuating deep lumpy cam sound from the exhaust, its a little worse while the ac is on to..just woundering if this is normal or what should i expect!! also i had the brakes changes one already and now back to LOUD sqeeking again...im on the verge of getting rid of this thing...

Cams in the exhaust? There's your problem.

What rpm is turning when this happens? Is it as your stopping and the engine is return to idle with the car in neutral and it feels like it is going to stall? If so that is pretty normal in the heat and it does it even worse with the A/C on like you stated. Mine will dip to @ 750-500 rpm and get very rough but, catch itself and return to around 850-900 rpm after a second.

05 no mods

also get an eratic sound from the exhaust

this just started to do this..never has it done this befor and no it wont catch it stays choked up and rpms stay at850-900

no infact i went and mixed in a bit of 100 but didnt seem to help

850-900 is normal idle for an Evo. Check your sparkplug gap. Should be around .026". I find it hard to believe you could burn up the gap in 2200 miles though. Try resetting your computer. Last ditch take it to the dealership.

My idle seems to get worse after running 100 octane and there is a TSB about 100 octane gumming up fuel injectors I believe.

my mixture was 94 i mixed it....

how bout change in exaust tone... at idle...

yeah i have a same problem with mines too,sound like my car is gonna dies out so i rev it a little just to keep the rpm up.i think thats normal for the 05 but i dont know about the 03-04.
