I found It!!!

Today I decided to go to some dealers to see if I could find an electric blue evo. Instead All of the mitsubishis were parked by the mall in a parking lot. Then I saw it, a 2005 Tarmac Black with ssl. I fell in love. I walked over to it and was so beautiful, I never thought I would like black, but i guess I was wrong. I will be getting the car asap. The sticker is 34 something, what do you think I could talk them Down to?

pay invoice or close to it because there's a lot of dealerships offering it for invoice...

and black does look good, especially when it's clean....

Black is clean once in a blue moon.

If having a dirty car bothers you, think twice.

I just got my '05 Tarmac Black w/ SSL on Friday and love it!! I paid 31,750 + TTL (OTD ~35000). It's not a fantastic deal but that's $500 below invoice (based on Edmunds) and I was comfortable with that. Especially since the car had no test drives on it and I took delivery with 7 miles on the odometer. The dealer is also getting me all the options (pedals, shift knob etc.) at cost if I wish. The next day, they sold the Red w/ SSL they had with 100 miles on it (demo car, stay away!) for $500 under MSRP which made me feel even better about my deal.

Definitely haggle for under invoice. Looks like you're in Wyoming so you should get a better price out of it. With the end of the month approaching, dealers will be desperate to get rid of the VIII's before the IX's come in. Some advice:

-Be sure to remind that the XI's are coming in two months and you're helping them look good in MMNA's eyes by getting rid of the VIII's.
-Mention that if they work with you well on the price, you'll got your EVO and they'll get a kick *** CSI (Customer Survey - VERY important to the dealers) from you. Remind them that it's a win-win situtation.
-Do NOT believe them if they say the 0% APR doesn't apply to the Evo. Make them look it up and prove you right.
-Don't let them sell you anything else, especially if they add the 'Dealer Fee'. That's another way for them to try to get money from you. You should pay for the price you agree on, Tax, Title and license fees only. Nothing more.
-Don't be a jerk. Nothing against you but if you go in there confident that you know what you want and know exactly how much you're willing to pay without being a jerk, it'll be easier to negotiate a good price.

Hope this helps and good luck!!!

So you paid around $3250 in tax+lic+fees. That is 10.2% of the value of the car. Are taxes that high in Florida. I paid 9.3% in taxes+lic+fees and I live in LA county in CA, where sales taxes are at 8.25%

I got my '05 Tarmac Black with SSL for 33k flat, which included TTL. I haggled with them for a bit and finally the guy asked me what would make me happy. I told him to sell it to me for that price and he made it happen. 21 miles were on the odometer.

The only thing that bugs me was if I would've waited a bit for the 0% financing as I bought mine on July 8th. Granted, I had no clue it was coming, so I can't complain.

This is true, but if you can garage your car and wash it at least once a week it'll look good Touch up spray is your friend here! Something to dust the car off with works wonders also.
