i ran 13.66 at 102 w/TBE nothing else crappy 2.1 60' i dont think u got a 1.7 your first time dragging your evo. i come from a dsm background and I am pretty good at launching my awd dropping at 5-5.5k. I dont know why i wasnt getting a better 60' time but I can tell you a couple of my runs were iffy getting used to the car. I dont know why you are talking about 60' times and not posting your 1/4 time. Its not like it should be a secret.

I also launch high (6000-6500), but that's not necessarily what gives good 60' times. So, did you run the 12.6-12.7 or not?
actually, let me clarify a bit....the track was super sticky to the point that i couldn't break loose just that little bit so my rpms dont drop off the launch...I know on a slightly cooler day I could pull a better 60ft b/c even at 6grand the car didn't jump like it usually does...

Probably, because of the 5k limiter, if you didn't disconnect it. If you didn't experience it, then you were launching below 5k anyway.

I never asked you to believe me, and this thread isn't about what I actually ran 1/4 mile, it's about what it should be at in perfect conditions. For me to compare and no one else....and that is my own person decision.

ps. I would go out of my way to post the 60' from my timeslip, but it really doesn't matter wether someone off the internet believes me or not.....if i saw you out one day and was having this convo and you tried to call bs it would be a diff story..

That's really weird...why would you post a claimed 60' and mph, but not the 1/4-mile ET? Smells fishy in here...

Warrtalon, you stated you launch at 6-6.5. Is there a reason for this? I havent tried much higher than 5500 but I got the same results as right around 5k because of the launch limiter. Feels crazy launching that high, my Mustang blows the tires off if I launch above 1200 lol, the Evo doesnt even bark the tires (though it does at 4k, proceeded by a boggggggg...).

that bog your speaking of is the exact one i couldn't get away from even with a 6k launch sat.....it wasn't a crazy bog or anything but there was still an rpm drop b/c i couldn't get so much as a chirp..

Because the ACT grabs harder than the stock clutch, so on a sticky track, I have to launch even higher. On the stocker, I did my feather/slip technique around 5500-6000. 5k is just too low for me on a decent track. I don't ever bog, but I get a tiny bit a wheelspin.

Warrtalon is not by any means your average drag racer. He's clicking better times than most people with double the mods. It's all about the driver. I personally am shooting for the 13's my first time out. If I had warrtalon's driving skills, I'd be pushing 11's.

No one asked you to be nice if you have something to say, say it....i know i would ...I race alot, sometimes for money, and i'd rather leave my driving/ 1/4mile times up to the imagination as much as possible....

Then again...the whole thread was retarded and pointless. You ran what you ran, but won't tell us, and it's more likely that you DIDN'T run well than it is that you are hiding it from local street racers...
