05' Evo Recall!

I just took my 05' in to the dealership for its 3500 mile check up and I was told that there is a recall on one of the turbo coolant hose. They ordered the replacement part. Its part # MD363256. Just spreading the word, no one wants to roast a turbo.

there is a recall for some (approx1500 05 evos). The recall is based on the fire risk due to a sub-par turbo coolant supply hose. There are several threads about this already.

Is this for all '05's? Is there anyway to tell if your specific 05 has the recall?

Why does it matter which 05's are affected, if you have an Evo regardless of which model and it is an 05 just take it to the dealer and get the hose changed out, atleast you'll have peace of mind knowing that it has been changed and you're not going to get left stranded on the side of the road.

my dealer didn't know there was a recall on 05 evo8. the funny thing is that the service department person drives same black 05 evo8. he didn't know. so i had to call other mitsubishi to confirm that my car is on recall. now they are going to do recall by using computer located in back hidden office instead of main service department office computer??? since they never received the recall letter???
i don't understand why are they doing this. if they never received a letter, then call the mitsu service department headquater to confirm it. it's that simple. why do the work in hidden computer????
it sounds scary. how would they know what parts need to be replaced without receiving the recall letter???
they just gonna act like they did recall without changing parts on my car???
is that what they are going to do???
