Test drove an Evo today
Well I didn't get to test drive but my Dad did, I was up in Athens, Ga going to college. Today Motor Trend brought by their yellow Evo to the dealership I'm buying mine from and let my Dad drive it. Plus it already had over 600 miles on it (I forgot the actual amount) so he could really lay into it, even though he didn't. But he said the Motor Trend guy showed him what it was caple of. He told me we are going to be having a long chat before he gives me the keys. Anyways, the best part is he signed the final contract and already paid for it so it is a done deal. The dealer did tack on a mark up, but it was only $200 dollars and a paper transaction fee of $500. My car will come in on March 18th, but I'm hoping it will come in sooner than that, I can't wait any longer. Just wanted to share with everyone the good news.
LOL
Your dad probably had no idea what that car was capable of and they just gave him a first hand experience of the beast. Damn, I'm amazed he's still buying the car for you. My dad would've bought it for himself and gave me a 1970 Datsun 210.
Here's to the Evolution of Evo's.

If I were your dad, I'd get you driving instruction, too. Dont do anything stupid, respect the car until you can make it do what you want it to do, and even then, watch out for other people...
yeah, don't expect to be chirpin tires and pullin brodies anytime soon
on a side not, parents are sweet when they help you get something you want, eh? My folks are letting me trade in our intrigue to help get that hijacked MSRP down to where its spoda be.

Yeah, I agree I'm a lucky guy, but I've been working hard to keep my 3.5 GPA at the University of Georgia and this is my Dad's way of saying thanks for keeping my scholarship so he doesn't have to pay for college.
Longfury-I went to Mall of Georgia Mitsubishi, they're getting 4 but 3 are already pre-sold. He won't be selling anymore close to MSRP anymore since the owner wants to mark it up to $5,000 over. He's only selling these 3 at MSRP because all us have it in writting to be sold at MSRP before they decided to mark it up.
