it does not seem right i just got an 05 i had an 04 and this never sounded like this

ok when i'm stoped and i barley tap the gas a little bit i hear the turbo whining pretty loud but when i press the gas a little harder i don't hear it??only with a very light tap i can hear it is this normal?? my 04 never did this

can you guy tell me if this is normal or not?

Only way I would imagining hearing the stock turbo turbo would be having an open turbo, no intake pipe at all.

 

no i'm all stock so this is not normal? i going to the dealer in 2 days i need some info untill then i also need help with somthing else.........


when i put my foot on the clutch and push a tiny bit down like an inch or 2 i feel the clutch start to shake only when i push it a tiny bit down when i push all the way down it go's away???

can somthing be lose? what about the throw out bearings

That sounds just liek the engagement point, but a rattle sounds like an Exedy Twin disk.

 

and the ball berings wont be bad becasue only way that would hear is at boost. humm. maybe your turbo brocken. take to dealer ask them. becasue worth having them see whats up then you so if you do brack somthing you wotn have to pay for it. they will have to if they have the car and open up and look.

nesiop i'm not engaging in any gear not going into gear when the clutch is out and i rest my foot on it thats my i feel it

and mike so this does not sound normal right its a high pich whine when i tap the gas this car only has 200 miles on it do you think it is because its so new or maybe the bigger hotside is why i'm hearing it?

 

can sombody tell me somthing i don't know? this is a F#c#ing new car whats going on will thing change after the break in?????

 

pull your intake pipe off.. check shaft play.. pull your air cleaner out, and see if the whistle gets louder... remember we cant see your car, so its hard to tell what the prob could be... if any. you might also be hearing the whine that every evo has...make a damn video for us to see...

i have an 05, dont hear anything in mine. But i did notice that when i release the clutch at start going at 700 or 800 rpm or so, i do hear a rattling noise up to 1k, then engine sounds normal. hope that isnt bad

 

I have on 05 and I don't hear anything.

 

it only happens when i tap the gas not even reving it i don't think the rpm even move thats how light i'm taping it

you know when you start your car and somtimes you hear the turbo whissle for a sec that what it sounds like! anyways i'm taking it back to the dealer but there going to tell me its normal i know it
