Evo/STi comparison not really performance
To compare tire tread wear ratings from different tire makers, is like comparing apples and oranges. There is no standard set of numbers that all tire makers use. It is different from company to company. So to compare the tread wear rating from Evo to STI is a moot point. But, read any magazine from when the cars first got to the states. They almost all say something about the Advans and how good of tires they are. The Advan is a superior tire to the Bridgestone.

?No, but both cars have the plus's and minus's and it all boils down to your driving ability and conditions. The Evo has razor sharp steering the STi(except Spec C) does not. Both cars are equally capable of taking turns at high and unsafe speeds as long as the driver has the ability to handle the car.
