evos need to pass whatever american tests we have for any new car
but i am not sure if every car gets this test. or what i think happens . a random selection
i'd believe that they would be embedding the pads, and checking other things.
3 miles is a lot if all they are doing is loading and unloading. i wouldn't imagine it would be efficient for the workers to drive half a mile to the boat from the truck and vise versa, unless they're trying to seat your seals the rough way.

No miles are put on the cars unloaded at the dock where my buddy is a longshoreman at. He says they are driven maybe a tenth of a mile if that. Very strict about it since they lost a 350Z in the water when someone decided to do burnouts in it. I think all the miles (after 2) come from the dealers rearranging their lots. The first couple miles coming from those big *** lots where the cars are stored after production. I like how Mercedes has a program that lets you go to Germany and pick your car up from the factory.
my MR had two miles on it when i picked it up from the dealership. they had it on the show room floor and they wouldnt let me test drive it. i actually had to test drive a regular 8 to get the "feel" of the car. and then when i bought my MR they pulled it out of the show room. and feeled it up with gas and when i drove off the lot it was still sitting right at two miles.
Mine had 5 when I bought mine. It was an 03 and the 04's just started to come out. Apparently this one sat on a car lot in georgia for a while and when that dealership closed down they transferred it down to where I bought it.

Then reverse, this process, from ship to port parking, to a truck, to a dealer then another pre -inspection from the dealers mechanics to ensure the car is 100% good to go.
At the end you car should have at least 3-4 miles on it if not more..
mine had 6 on it when i got it...
Funny part is that the MR i purchased was the one on the showroom floor right, but I needed to test drive one before I wanted to buy it. So they let me test drive a silver MR that was parked outside. Lets just say so much for 600 mile break in lol... The dealer guy was definitely hitting max boost and revving quite high. But it sold the car
