gauge install -- question
How many of you who installed a gauge or set of gauges went through the factory firewall grommet? I'm entertaining the idea of doing the evomoto 2nd firewall hole mod... comments? Is it necessary?
I'll be running 3 gauge wires through there to my control link...

There is a decent hole on the passenger side.. you could make it bigger but it might be a PITA to get a drill in there. I just like the fact that is away from everything. I have a pic if you're not sure what I'm talking about.
It should be more than enough room depending on how many/thick the wires are.

I will likely follow the evomoto write-up on creating your own firewall hole since I need to run 4awg through there next week for the amp install.
