My EVO Concern
And so far, this is the only thing. It does get a lot of attention, but I hope it doesn't get too much of the wrong attention. So far, when it's outside at work, or at the store, or even today parked 30 yards from the tennis court where I was playing, I'm more worried with this car about someone wanting to break in or try and steal it. I always see younger guys eyeing it...and hopefully it's just wishful stares like I used to give.
My Civic SI was never broken in to, my Contour SVT was, because I was parked in a bad area of Dallas and someone decided to see what was inside. No problems with my Passat, but I never got many looks in that thing. Just curious if it's a major problem. I have a house, so it's locked up in the garage at night.

My Civic SI was modded a little and nobody ever messed with it.
I guess it's just the parts on the EVO, seems like it'd be tempting to steal, rip apart, and sell. I am in the suburbs...probably most of the kids up here wouldn't want it anyway because they are all driving vette's and M3's. I tend to stay in the nice areas of town.
Parking at work is always a toss up. there are some big wide spaces in the back, but I can't see the car. I can park up front, right next to the window, but then I have to worry about morons hitting me with car doors.
I guess an alarm might be a good investment. I did order some wheel locks today.

If someone wants to break into your car then there is nothing you can do about it. I had a Volkswagen GTI that go broken into one News Years Day. I walked out of my friends apartment at about noon time to a blown out drivers side window. I looked in the car and the first thing I noticed was glass all over my leather seats which I might add I cut myself on trying not to scratch my leather. then I looked
atthe car and saw that my cd player, all my CD's, and my radar detector were all stolen.Driving home New Years day with no music and a blown of window in 20 degree weather was not the best timeto( was hungover from a night of partying). The best thing is not to worry about these types of things because you'll loss sleep at night.
Worrying about someone swinging their door into the side of your car and putting a massive dent in it now thats something to loss sleep over haha just joking
