Help with lip install.

I just got a Carbon Fiber "do-luck" replica lip from Streetconcept and am having some problems with the install. Has anyone installed one of these that can help me out? None of the mounting brackets have holes and they are tiny. It also only has 7 or 8 brackets where the stock has twice that many. It just doesn't seem very strong to me. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

do a search. there is a whole thread about the fitment of these lips. i myself have one from them and i had trouble too. i ended up having to cut of those tabs then i drilled a couple of holes in the bottom and used bolts and washers to secure the bottom. i have the one that goes over the stock lip. not the one that replaces it since i think he may have came out with a replacement one now too so i guess it may depend on which one you have. good luck.

The lip I have is the full replacement. I've done searches and I haven't been able to find anything. The tabs on the lip are so small that they are cracking when I drill the holes. AAARRGGHH, stupid $400 lip.

When I got my Do Luck carbon fiber lip, it had all the 15 holes pre drilled to mount to the bottom of the car. Sounds like the one you got wasn't drilled for all the holes, could just be a production error. Send it back to get another one. For $400.00 you shouldn't have to drill any holes yourself, or use some jimmy rig double sided tape. Just my opinion.

Send it back.

i guess you will have to send it back, or drill the holes yourself. But if you decide to send it back, make sure THEY pay for shipping....... I was thinking about getting that lip as well, fitment issues and other problems, made me thing otherwise. Will buy WORK springs instead..
