I'd get rid of my Evo VIII in a second for a TME.

I got mine with the rally stripes. good thing PI has lotsa those limited evos enough for me to purchase one. handling and fun factor... yes i totally agree it drives way better than the newer gens or the CT9A generation evos, especially the 8. i own an 8 in the US

click on this website and get back to me if the CT9A series had achieved those records

i agree with awDRIVEN. the evo is meant for rallying, and not street racing or quartermile runs. it was built in the production line only to comply with the group-a rules of the WRC, so basically the CP9A models are the very same models used by makinen in the WRC, unlike the 7 which kept losing, and the evolution WRC car, not the 8.

i dont get it, how can the 6 be better than the VIII when all the reviewers rave about how the evo keeps getting faster and faster? granted the new evos are built more for street than rally, so naturally they should be faster on the street compared to the VI, last time i checked, our roads are primarily asphalt not dirt, so wouldnt this be better for us the consumer? also remember that the evo VI has super ayc and no acd, and the usdm evo has acd and no super ayc (if im wrong please correct me) so that might make a difference when comparing the handling of both cars, and we never driven jdm evos w/ super ayc so we dont know if the VI is really better or not, honestly, i think its like this, the grass is always greener on the other side, so everyone loves the VI because of its rich history and exclusiveness, but i bet if you were to test them both for pure performance on the track and drag, which is what we would do with em anyway, im sure the evo VIII wins

we already did that on the circuit using a US spec Evo 8 where we pitted in 2 Evo 5s, an Evo 6, an Evo 6.5, 2 Evo 7s, a Euro Evo 8 MR and a USDM Evo 8. the Evo 7 did the best followed by the 2 Evo 5s. too bad the 8 wasnt able to keep up with any of them. ill look for some pics bu to be honest, the 8 got the most critics.

the people here who've never driven the evo 5 or 6 can never really say that their 8 is better. i've driven both, owned both. the only reason I don't have a 5 or 6 now is because you can't register it here (but i'm working on that ) that's why i have an 8.

Hmm, buy that, swap plates with the WW 05 whenever I want to drive it. Get pulled over, it's a body kit that makes it look so cool.
