Moonroof Problems?

Does anyone have an occassional problem with their moonroof getting caught on the gasket when opening. Mine has done it a couple of times so I'm wondering if there was a recall or TSB for it.

no probs here either. take it back to the dealer have them fix it. dont let them tell you its not working because of your aftermarket intake either!

mine gets caught, every once in a while.... hasn't done it for months though. it would happen when i would try to open it(slide it back) , it would go up about a 1/4 of an inch and just stop and wouldn't go any farther. i would have to reclose it a couple of times and then it would kinda pop, and then work again. but like i said, it hasn't done it in months.

Mine has done it a couple of times...i just tap it a few times or give it some light smacks with my hand and it works fine after that for a while...it just gets stuck when i dont open it for a while and since is so hot where i live is normal that the rubber thing gets glued to the moonroof. I open the roof at least once a week, try that to see if works, or use some type of lubricant for the rubber sealant.

I used to have this problem when I would only open the moonroof occasionally. I now open it every day and haven't had the problem for quite a long time. I also used a little silicone on the seal to keep the rubber in good condition.
