The dealer here in Yuma says he got a message from that is directing him to put all the available accessories on their first car. I talked with the sales manager and told him I was very informed (from this web site) and that I've never heard this before. I said I didn't want any accessories yet. On the plus side they said they only want $1000 over MSRP. I may even be able to get them down to MSRP. Bell Road auto Mall in Phoenix said they want $2000 over.

 

CAN NOT make a dealer put on accessories. Your dealer is trying to make more money. If you want some of them then but them but if you want the car without them make them give it to you. wave some $100's under the salesmanager's nose and watch his story change.

I picked up my black EVO yesterday and the salesrep told me once he has the waiting list taken care of, he will order EVO's with every available accessory. That's how this delaler will make it's money, I have the accessories list and you should see the markup. Unbelieveable. But the good news is, I bought mine at the MSRP price and not a penny more. Go EVO!

i do recall some of the wrxes being pushed with those $3kish wheel/tire packages on some of the early sellers...have yet to see hear of that with the alternative wheels on the evo...

sometime soon, i'm sure...
