the hurricane is not the problem, its the damn goverment that is letting gas go out of control. greedy gas bastards. I am a republican for the most part, but if this is how its going to be they can suck my *****

well in ga it shouldnt be that high. its just greedy gas station owners, not corporate owned stores, who are raising the price for pure profit. ga's governor said he will not tolerat that and said to call the hotline if prices dont seem right.

You will be looking to buy a new O2 sensor in no time.......octane boosters contain organometallic, will poison your O2 sensor like leaded gas will poison your CAT

i hear ya. the government can help with the way the price of gas is. they should have done this since the 70's but whatever. im gonna vote for someone who will actually believe in an alternative fuel, who gives a crap about the other issues. they will be addressed in one way or anohter but an alternative fuel source is the only thing not being discussed.

also heard the epa is going to waive all the additive chemicals to gas so we can get more gas produced. what will not having any of these chemicals do to our engines.

I duno, I'd personally put in race gas before I used '87.
I read in Super Street that Sunoco will actually deliver 5 gal tanks of GT100 to your door via Fedex.

Yeah, it's all based on fear and speculation, and we're the ones who suffer on the back end. Oh well, I guess it could be worse: it could be food/water, etc. that we're being gouged on instead of gas...

Crude is above 100 bucks a barrell. If this goes on too long, this could really make the economy self-destruct. Could you imagine our economy going into recession just because of gas. Think about it...no gas to get to work means no income. No income means no purchases of goods. You all get the picture. Hell the price of goods is going to go up too. Due to shipping increasing in price. This is not a good situation at all. Something is going to have to give. Pray that it is the oil industry. The world really needs to figure out some sort of alternative energy sources. Cause this really is bullcrap. People are not going to be able to withstand this for real long. Time will tell how the Gov't reacts to this. Cause something HAS! to CHANGE!
