As unfortunate as this is to say....

.... there's still no power there, so don't expect anyone to get online and give us any information.

That was horrible... but I have to admit I was wondering the same thing... I hate to see an evo ruined. I cant afford to help out tho cuz as of today high test gas is like $3.40 a gallon because of the stupid hurricane.

Well... hopefully most of the Evo owners from those areas made it safely to friends or relatives who have power. New Orleans is in real bad shape. It will be months before power is restored, and even longer before the city is truly habitable.

Most people with cars evacuated. I know someone posted on here that they left New Orleans and came over here to Lafayette.

actually, there was some photos on fox news showing sharks washed into the city, granted they will die soon with the sewage, but christ - sharks. they also showed 3 dolphins in Mississippi washed in with the big waved and stuck in a guys swimming pool.

If they were, they wouldn't be living for long. Most of the water is highly toxic right now and I can't imagine any wildlife surviving in it. The water is seriously flourescent, its disgusting.

the dolphins were relocated from a zoological park near the coast to a temporary pool in a hotel somewhere.

My job will be sending me to mississippi in a few weeks for as long as we need to be there to clean up. They told us to bring a gun for all the snakes and alligators that we might come across. Tsurara might be right but we arent taking any chances I really want to help the people down there, the benefits from my job are great. I will get paid food and gas(if i was to take my car but no where to get gas in the imediate area). They are saying that there wont be any power in the area for 3-6 months.
