BTW, does it have to be an AWD car? Now that the new E90 3-series is on the market, BMW dealers are offering heavy discounts on the outgoing E46 3-series. You can probably get a nice 330i/iC for much less than you might think.

are you planning on purchasing a new r32? From what i hear, you will be hard pressed to find one sitting on a lot at a VW dealer

sounds to me like the r32 is the car for you...IMO if you even think about trading in your evo, then its probably not the best car for your needs

You can also look at the new Audi A3, 2.0 turbo and you get 4 doors and it's a hatchback. Reliability wise I've heard not too good about VW/Audi, lots of electrical problems...

The 2006 Acura TSX will be worth looking at as well. Also, the 2006 Civic SI will be a very nice car, 200HP, brembo brakes, 6spd..etc.

I second the idea of an A3, honestly it'll stow all your stuff, and with a GIAC chip, you can put down some nice torque figures so you won't feel THAT slow after owning an EVO. . . .it's a great family hauler as well, and LOT's of storage. . .9-2X's are ALL GONE because of that GM discount thing, but it's got an OK engine (sorry, I have to hate on the subbie boxer engine just cuz. . . I'm an EVO owner!)

yeah i was thinking about trading for a g35x because my clutch was starting to slip a little bit and i needed brakes/tires so i said let me trade in and start all over

i had a down payment on a g35x but i just could not do it after i had the down payment on the car i started missing my evo even know i still had it so i was like fu@k this i love this car even know it a lot of money to keep so i went looking for an EB there was only 2 left in NY and NJ so i made the deal with my dealer and they then they told me that they sold the one in NY then he told me the name of the dealer in NJ so got my down payment back just like the g35x i looked up the dealer in NJ called them to see if they still had it and they did so i had to take things into my own hands and drove down there and got it i didn't get the best deal but i got the color i wanted

my 04 had 13000 mile one little dent and 2 scraches pretty deep too

i own my car out right so with my car and seven G's i got a new 05 not the best deal like i said but what do you guys think did i get riped on the price?

The car is paid off and I was planning to roll whatever i can get for it plus 2-3k in to something that more suits my lifestyle and used....

While I love a car that is super fast and can be tossed around like a seal pup, I'm considering something more practical. I must be getting older or wiser.

I have looked in to the 2004 R32's...owning 2 VW's in the past I know the you're either lucky or not. I was lucky with the VW's I woned and didn't have any problems, while friends with the same car got screwed.

Most R32's owned have less than 30k on them, so its hard to gather info on various problems that they may have. They also tend to be overpriced in my opinion.

I'm basically looking for a fast & nimble awd car, with leather interior, and room for toys inside the car. I'm either going to get something used for about $25k or wait a year to see what cars are on the market and/or due to arrive to market.

I don't like the saabaru or the wrx wagon....I've considered a 330ix, Volvo S60 or V70 R, R32, A4 or A4 avant (too slow), S4 (potential to have to spend a bunch of money too great) & have looked at the wrx wagon.

In all likley hood I'll wait until the spring, but am trying to gather as much info as possibel so i don't make a mistake.

You might wait for the new Subaru WRX Wagon. I beleive it has a new 2.5 litre engine which is very torquey. That is, if you can live with the looks. I thought they got the message when they changed the bug eye look, but the new 2006 models are pretty awful looking.

R32s are a huge waste of money in my opinion, costs same price weights more and is slower than a 4 door when its a 2dr.
