This one seems told hold more than 19lbs of boost according to mitsu. It looks kinda like the 2G, but taller. I've got a pic somewhere.....let me find it.

Here it is! Look under the radiator hose. It's the hat looking thing. (i'm pretty sur that's it, not 100%)

Yes that was true... But the EVO comes with a bigger turbo, I believe it's a 16g.. So it shouldn't really run outa gas in the higher RPM's....

Boost is computer controlled, so prolly it kicks it down to 16 psi near redline. Because the turbo is a very powerful 16G, one of the best 16Gs short of the titanium ones.
Perhaps it's also the BOV might be leaking and Mitsubishi didn't wanna go out and change design to add a aluminum BOV because I know my eclipse's stock plastic BOV has trouble holding stock boost. After I replaced it with greedy type s, it made a world of a difference. It held stock boost better. Ofcourse vented back to intake just like god meant it to be.

Well I've got 2 stock 1G BOV's on my GSX and they do just fine with my 20G setup.... They would do fine with an 18G as well, that's why I am confused on how would put another plastic P.O.S. on the EVO....

Well, dunno, to save money ofcourse. It works with the stock set-up so why include a better BOV when most of the Evo owners won't need it.
Ofcourse I'll need a new BOV, not too fond of the placing of the BOV, but you can just as easily place it anywhere else on the intake side of the IC pipe.

Absolu-positiv-loutly! Noone test drives one of these without a deposit down and APPROVED financing! Basically, the person to test drives it has to agree to purchase the car pending a successful test drive. (contract already signed and everything)

Almost all dealers are doing this... they don't want people coming in to just joy-ride in the cars with no intent of purchasing them.

Look at how everyone in here is ultra-paranoid of how many miles are on their cars when they pick them up. Test drives dramatically increase those miles.
