this is annoying me... help?!?!

About a week or so ago i noticed a funny noise that seemed to be coming from under the gas pedal. It sounds like something is vibrating, maybe...like a buzzing or humming, and i can feel it a little in my right foot, but not like the entire pedal is shaking.. I dont know if its just me going crazy, and im being too overprotective of the car. I dont hear it all the time, just sometimes, just curious to see if any of you guys had the problem, or know what it is. Thanks in advance for the help.

if the noise is not affecting your evo in anyway then dont worry about it. its just another one of the evo's mysterious sounds

Might just be something loose rattling around, get a flashlight get on your back and check to make sure everything is tight

i had a similar noise. there were two plastic rings on the throttle cable coming out of the firewall that were causing the sound. i just taped them up with electrical tape and the sound went away. you could probably just cut them off if you wanted.

if you did not fix it already i hope this helps.

maybe its something near the throttle cable or hitting the throttle cable if you can "feel" it w/ the gas pedal. i dont know if evo's are drive by wire but its a suggestion to look into.
