Would a 05 Lightning beat an Evo8 in a roll?

Tell him you will race the lightining at a road course and then you can beat it hands down. The EVO was not meant to be a drag car, it is meant to be a rally car and then road course car. It pains me a great deal to see people drag racing an EVO or STI, but to each his own
well maybe your right, but its not like the lighting has a bad 60 ft from the factory(if they can get the tires to hook up?) and Evos usually are around mid 13s from the factory( which sometimes i guess you never know since ive see stock ones run 14s) but ive see lightings run 14s so oh well.

a lightning is very fast stock they run a mid 13 so from a role a stock evo should be beat unless the evo is moded. those truck can also be upgraded easily. just a change of the pulley on the supercharger can increase the already stock 400hp to 450 or more
Being the previous owner of a 2002 Lightning. I know for a fact that a stock '05 Evo will beat a very slightly modded Lightning from a 60mph roll. Its a very close race though.

I was on the track at Thunderhill Raceway with a Lightning. I was ******* him in the corners, but he wouldn't pull over to let me pass. Finally when he did yield, I couldn't pass him. The truck wasn't faster down the str8, we were even to turn 1. My car is stock, and I assume the F150 is also.
