Bye bye evo
Bye bye evo
WEll my Evo I just got like 30 days ago is or at near total now. Some idiot decided to run a stop sign at a cross street on Ft. Bliss when he couldn't see the road do to traffic. In the process he came flying out 5 feet in front of my car and I t-boned him. The MP's showed up and declared him at fault. That's the good part I guess. The bad part is my intercooler, radiator, turbo, intercooler piping, NX kit, bumper, hood, headlights, manifold, both fenders, and pretty much everything else from the front doors forward is mangled or missing. So I don't know if it will be totalled or not. The only other good part is if they do fix it I can replace pretty much everything with aftermarket parts since I can get them below what OEM parts cost. Amazingly the insurance company agreed to this.

Good luck getting the thing back to as good as new condition.
I would take the insurance money and go buy a new one with LSD, 10.5 hotside, new ADVANS, better clutch, ect...... at zero percent.

I agree with the evo IX comment. Should be able to get an alright price on one since a guy on my team works at the mitsubishi dealership as a senior salesman.
No I didn't have a stop sign...although I really tried to stop.
MP= Military Police. He said that was the wreck of the day. I told him I was glad I could make his damn day. lol
