alright so im in the process of getting all my tools together and was wondering what tools would you recommend to keep in your car at all times!

Metric set wrenches...Go to to Wallmart , the sell a small tool kit (in a hard case) with all metric wrenches sockets, with screw drivers etc.

And a battery charger/ jumper ( not a tool but...just in case)

 

Craftsman/Companion has some really nice compact tool sets that give you most of the basic hand tools. I've had one for years now and keep it in my car. You can take most of the car apart with just the small set of tools the set provides. I haven't needed anything other than this, a flashlight, a jack, and a 4-way out on the road.

 

10mm, 12mm sockets, phillips and flat head screw driver, pliers, needle nose, and channel locks.

With those, you can practically take apart an Evo.

 

Everything needed to get to the intercooler when the hose blows off....

first aid kit and a AAA card.. i wouldnt touch anything in my own car id probobly make it worse

 

Keep a cheapo mechanics tool kit in the trunk. If you aftermarket wheels, keep a breaker bar with 19mm and 21mm deep sockets and a torque wrench. Keep the spare with five stock lugs to put it on!

Plus a power mod to make up for all the added weight

I always have my craftsman 151 piece toolbox kit in my car...you never know what might happen...

well im also trying to minimize space and weight. a 151 tool kit seems a tad heavy.
