i was wondering if there is a difference in tire and say perofrmance when the stock tire is a 235/45r/17 and going to a 235/40r/17..the reason i ask is i need new tires and the advans are pretty pricey..and i was looking at the falken azenis rt-615...r they good?....im a newbie when it comes to tires and sizing..please HELP!!...and these tires will be going on the stock enkies

 

I like the Advans, how much are they charging them for?

im not a tire guy but our tires are 45s, so going ot a 40 is less sidewall which would mean a harsher ride i am assuming.. try posting in the wheel and tire section youll probobly get better answers in there.

 

Do a search, there are many threads on the Azenis. Many people go with 255/40s on this tire.
