SRS Light

The SRS light just came on in my car on the way to work. Has anyone else had this problem and if you have what did you do to fix it?

Yeah the srs light is the airbag system. If it was just a check engine light I could have the code pulled or just unplug the batt. for a bit and be done with that.

I actually just installed several things. I think it might have something to do with my turbo timer or perhaps my intake because I had to work around the airbag sensors with the intake and the turbo timer had some plugs that went into the ecu.

If you removed the airbag sensor plug harness without first unplugging the battery the SRS light will come on. Even if you plug them bag remove and replug battery it will not fix it. The ONLY solution I have ever known to reset the SRS system is to hook up a special computer that plugs into the OBD 2 port and reset it. Its very expensive and usually only the dealers have this. Its not only the mistu dealership though, when my shop changed out my AC condensor they removed the yellow airbag harness in the front. Luckily they have a friend who works in a Nissan dealership bring the big handheld computer and reset it for me.
