The MR rims are forged therefore really light and strong. it would have to be another forged rim... volk/ rays might have a lighter rim. Gramlights arent forged... thats a tough one!

The stock MR rims are pretty darn light for stock at 17.4 lbs each. You will spend big bucks for something lighter. Look for anything made by Rays.

For pure performance, enkei RPF1's. They aren't forged but they weigh less, super rigid and tough as nails. Cheap to boot.

Realtime racing uses them in their speed challenge TSX. Sport compact car magazine used them on their project subaru.. curbed them big time and lasted. I personally had a set and hit, no more like crashed, over potholes in NYC with no bending.

These are often seen on the track so you know they perform.

they are damn light. save the cash on the wheels and spend it in performance mods. much better bang for the buck than lighter wheels

Just buy someones used set.

gramlights, volks, the enkeis mentioned, and koseis k1 ts's. I think gramlights or the lightest being like 13.5 ib's for 17x8 or something like tht.

Definitely forged but I'm not sure how strong it is comparatively.

17 x 8.0 +35 weighs 13.53lbs

I think you need to go magnesium to be considerably lighter than that.

gram light 57F is forged...and the 57F Pro is a two piece forged wheel.

CE28 and 57F are very light. buddy club has a forged rim that is sub 14lbs i think.

Racing Hart CP-035 ( 17x8 , 13.9 lbs ) 58.000 Yen
http://www.hartwheels.co.jp/cat_raci...t_035_spec.htm

or Racing Hart CPR-035 ( 18x8 , 16 ish lbs ) 76.500 Yen
http://www.hartwheels.co.jp/cat_raci...p035r_spec.htm

I had the CP-035 and I have to say that those are really strong wheels and really light , you'll be amazed if you try them . On my Civic , I had improved my 0-60 mph by about 0.3 sec , only using those wheels and Pirelli P7000 Summer tires ( light tires too ) .
If you don't know how to order them , here the adress :

Takechi Project co ltd
International Dept.
10F Yotsubashi Okawa Bldg.
1-6-23-1001 Shinmachi , Nishi-Ku
Osaka, 550-0013 , Japan
FAX : +81 6-6539-3151

And yes , they do speak english , so feel free to ask any info from them ^^
