Thats exactly why i ordered it. Should be getting in the two parts tomorrow! Cant wait (1st mod). I was concerned too about seeing the speedo, b/c i am short. But with the autometer pod, the boost gauge will be so close to the tach....i like that. The clean look though is awesome. I see Bucher is selling a similar pod for $50 bucks...wonder if its autometer?? I dont want to drill holes in the stock steering column , so i will be using tape only.

i get people asking if the gauge is oem cause of the clean look

btw - the supplied tape in the kit didnt work for me , so i used a thin piece of velcro

tape didnt work?? that sucks. I guess i'll be playing around with mounting the pod when i get it in today....hurry UPS! I guess i'll try velcro if needed...as long as i dont drill the steering column b/c i will probably upgrade pod/gauges in the future.

acutally it looks really good where it is. that's the same gauge and the same place i put it. i mean i dont really need to stare at the gas gauge much you know? also, it's not held in place by a piece of tape but by screws. looks good.

I have the autometer dual gauge steering column pod. I don't have it taped down or anything, it just sits there perfectly... I wanted to be able to take it off without leaving holes or sticky residue. This view isn't "normal", I ususally drive with the steering wheel all the way down and the SAFC hidden. The gauges block the bottom of the MPHs and the GAS level, that's it.

carbontrix.com

They have nice gauge mounts. All CF. That is what I run. I think they have 3 different gauge setups for the EVO/Lancer.

OK, i take it that on that gauge the Triangle marker is the amount you boost you running .. do you have to set that marker manually. or does it set automatically

I couldn't live with the speedo blocked out. I like to see past 120 mph personally.
