that sucks. i came out of my apt. complex on Monday to see a pile of glass but no car. i know how you feel.

 

Besides the fact I don't like car audio, it's the number one reason why people's cars get broken into. Yeah sure, sometimes they break in and steal performance related parts, but more often then not, it's to get the shiny stereo or amp....

Sucks either way. A-holes.

What good would an immobilizer do in this case? If they tried to steal the whole car it may have helped.

But since they just wanted the stereo equipment, the only thing that would help would be a real loud alarm/killer attack dog.

 

same crap happend to mine, broke my window but for some reason they didn't get a thing, i could see where they tried prying at my radio (installed below hvac) and completly ignored my passport escort hanging from my window......
