It's a chop but I'd like it to look like that.

How can you tell if you still have them on?

From what I understand, Vividracing is putting a suspension on his new white Evo today! Check their web site for more info.

He has imported parts from Japan now (from the VII).

I don't feel that much body roll at all either. Plus i don't want to risk ruining the handling of the car, not to mention the front bumper and air guide.

Actually, those are just shipping spacers. If they haven't been removed yet, they need to be. Those are suppose to be taken out on PDI, as stated by a thing in the windshield of the car.
Right... and if you leave them in, the ride will feel much more harsh.

I'd be hesitant to make any serious changes to the car's suspension which is simply awesome in standard form. It's not at all like the WRX or just about any other production car I can think of that is softened and dulled down to account for the lowest common denominator. I suspect little more than a good custom alignment will bring the best out of the EVO as far as handling goes. We've spent thousands of dollars (not to mention thousands more of R&D dollars) trying to get other cars to drive as well as the stock EVO.

Just my 2c,
Shiv

Don't go lowering it just for the look. That's not what these cars are about.

If you must do this then think about it as part of a well rounded suspension upgrade.

check out www.takakaira.com, you can buy parts directly from Japan, and they will ship here.. they have the most tunner parts I ever seem on a website.. I am getting a BOV kit for my EVO8 from them, as well as the HKS suction kit..
