i had a e 36 m3 with all the na mods.. it was a fantastic car. You will never hear a better sounding engine than a NA straight six. The beautiful torque curve and the balance are amazing.. but sadly it couldnt compare to my evo. Even with A032r's H&R coilovers and various other mods, the limits were just much lower. BUt what great cars they are.

Did the same thing. Had a e36 m3 and just bought a "05 silver evo with the SSL. The evo isn't as refined and a bit more bumpy, but a lot quicker and feels really tight.

remember 1st thing you should do is...
Rev up to 4700 and drop the clutch...launch the heck out of the dealership and dont' forget to power drift your 1st turn out of the lot. Then find the high school football field nearest to you and test out your Bilsteins and compare and contrast to your M3's suspension.
