I dont have pics, but the license plate is located off to one side. There is a special plate adapter that comes with the car, that bolts right in.
Looking at the front of the car, the plate is on the right side.

Hey SilverEvoVIII, I have my deposite with Boch mitsu. Who did you work with? Amir is the person who is handling the evo sales. According to him, we're getting 9 some time this month. I was guaranteed my evo(blue by you, high spoiler, no sunroof) at msrp, but then again I put my deposite down more than a year ago. According to Amir(the evo sales guy) 5 or 6 of the evo arrving is already sold at MSRP, the leftover is what the dealer gonna make the "big money" on. so depending on when you made your deposite, you may or may not get it at msrp.
Anyway, I've been work with Boch Mitsu on getting my evo for about 2 years. I had my motor swap on my eclipse there, some of the service and tech people are pretty knowledgeable, sales people are just like the rest, but they are actually interested in listening to what I have to say. My experience with Boch Mitsu has been a good one. PM me if you have more questions.

Although a front plate is required in my state (NY) I instructed my dealer not to install the plate bracket or add any 'dealer logos' to the car.. nothing that will get in the way or that is added by the dealer for advertising. I've driven cars for years with no front plate.. Only once did I recieve a ticket, I think the trick is that if you don't have a place to put it, they let it go.. If you intentionally leave it off, you get the ticket.. Thats been my experience.. If the car had a way to remove the bracket I take it off..
Tiak- They guy told me i would get it for somewhere between 28k and 29k so i would guess htat would come out to be MSRP. They did not give me a date however, the estimate was like 2 months(which is fine by me that way it wont see any snow or road salt this year) but he said he woudl call me when he knew more.
yycools- I dont remebr off hand but i think the guys name was Sam, and liek a siad it sounds like i sould be getting for MSRP, but i wont prolly know much more until the car gets closer to getting here.
So i guess by the reposnse the plate in in the same place as the canity plate was in all the press photos, so thanks for the help. I am leaving now for vacation for a couple of weeks so dont be surprised if i dont respond to this post for a while.
