how much gain are we looking at with a lets say hks rs intake with tune or a k&n drop in with a tune?? wanted to know the performace look at both

uhh he is an AEM tuner... don't alot EMS systems do away with the stock MAF anyway, thus making VTA a non-issue?

Yeah, the filter is fine. If you want to hear the BOV noise more distinctly, sure go for the whole intake. Basically, it does nothing for us. I have the AEM one, but thats cuz I got it used for $60 (:-D) and so it was cheap. I don't notice any BOV fluttering tho. I just installed a RNR TBE about two months ago, and boy do I feel a bigger difference. You won't feel anything from the intake. If anything, you'll lose a bit of power lower down, maybe gain it up high (? haven't had too much time to test that too much)

We're in a thread talking about basic bolt ons, not 2 grand worth of engine management. I realize that he's an AEM tuner.
